Abstract
In this study, we clarified the challenges to imparting FinTech education to students from the social science faculties, which will be the source of financial human resources for the DX society. First, we have described the current situation of banks. Next, we examined the relationship between business and IT with regard to the concept of FinTech, and then examined the awareness of management information and finance among social science undergraduates through two questionnaire surveys. As a result, we found that there is a certain degree of gap between students who are interested in management information and those who are interested in financial business. In addition, we determined a need to develop education at the intersection of traditional banking business and expanding IT-related business in order to develop FinTech-capable personnel working for financial institutions in the future.
