In this research, we examined the effectiveness of promoting the learning of medical treatment by making a flowchart of medical fee calculation rule. As a result of comparing the results of pre-post tests on knowledge and skills regarding the medical fee calculation, at least half of the students’ performance was improved, and a remarkable improvement was recognized particularly in the first scholars. In addition, it was shown that more than 70％ of the students had a positive impression of the flowchart production exercise. These results suggest that the introduction of a medical fee calculation flowchart in medical office classes may be effective in promoting the learning especially in the first scholars.
