Thrombosis formation is a major problem in extracorporeal circulation. Hence, there is a need of real-time thrombus monitoring device. As fundamental experiments for the early detection of the thrombus, we performed electrical spectroscopy measurement of the thrombus formation process by adding aqueous solution of Calcium Chloride in citrated bovine and swine blood. The cole-cole fitting was performed to analyze the measured electrical parameters in terms of four cole-cole parameters. As a result, we were able to differentiate thrombogenic condition from non-thrombogenic condition in terms of pattern of change of characteristic frequency.
