Abstract
Recently, metal electrode, such as Ag/AgCl electrode, is used for measuring the bioactivity, which is electrocardiogram and muscle potential. However, there are some problems to use the metal electrode for living body. Tissue inflammation is one of the problems in vivo, discomfort and irritation to the skin are those in vitro. Then, silk electrode, which pristine silk is coated with conductive polymer, has the possibility of solving these problems, because of its high biocompatibility and flexibility. Using silk electrode, Therefore, we could measure the muscle intercellular potential and extracellular potential to observe the bioactivity.
