Research objectives is to develop a resource circulation evaluation system that could help formulate better responses to new domestic and global waste treatment-related issues, such as applying appropriate waste treatment methods and implementing the principle to rectify environmental damage at source. As the results of analysis of waste generation and waste treatment facilities by region, the amount of waste generated was projected for each region and analyzed in relation to the capacities of waste treatment facilities in each jurisdiction based on the current amount of waste generated and the current status of waste treatment facilities in each province/city. Collecting real-time data on the full lifecycle of waste, from generation to transportation to treatment is essential for building a digital information system for resource circulation. The efficiency of the resource circulation digital information system could be maximized by organically linking the plans for resource circulation at the central government level and the plans for urban development and waste treatment facilities at the local government level.
