In this paper, the SMA actuator, which has stockinet' structure has been fabricated, and its structure, principle and dynamics characteristics have been argued according to the bionics-theory. Moreover mechanical characteristics of the actuator, which is knitted with SMA wire of 0.15mm diameter was tested and analyzed. The experimental result shows that the actuator has enough output force and amount of contraction, when it is used to artificial muscles. And using mathematic model, the relations among temperature, amount of contraction and output force were carried.
