In the present paper the attention is focused on the vortex shedding from in-line tube banks on acoustic resonance which occurred in the two-dimensional model of boiler. We measured a spectrum, phase delay of velocity fluctuations in the tube banks, sound pressure level. As a result it was made clear that the symmetric pair of vortices were clearly formed even in the case of Reynolds number, based on mean gap velocity, of about 1.1×104 with acoustic resonance in the longitudinal direction of the duct. Strouhal number, based on mean gap velocity and vortex shedding frequency, was 0.52.
