The swing of a gondola lift is easily induced by wind and can be reduced by a dynamic absorber. When the conventional dynamic absorber is located at the center of gravity of the main mass, the swing is not reduced at all. Therefore the absorber should be located as high as possible. In this paper, a new type dynamic absorber which moves radially is proposed. The swing is reduced by coriolis force when dynamid absorber moves radially. It is effective even if the absorber is located at the center of gravity of the main mass.
