The walker is in common for the assist of walking. But the mobility is limited to the barrier of the walk road surface, though the physical support is more certain than one of a stick against the assist of the walk ability decline. Here is examined the study of the walking assist device, the mobility of which can be cleared of the limits to the barrier. .These are about the main concept of the design and the varieties of the walking assist function. The engineering approach of the walking assist function is done together with the thinking of medicine walking ability and environment & community .of the walking.
