A basic concept of the walking support machine is walking in there is no sense of incompatibility support. Therefore, the method without the switch is adopted. And, to obtain the sensibility with high reliability and feeling, basic operation of the walking support first done on a smooth road is examined. Assistance in the acclivity and the downward slope examines the method to correct the difference with a smooth road. The walking support machine corresponding to a variety of walking roads is developed by these.
