In the walking assist device, the support function of the body between the person who is supported and the walking assist device is done only in the steering wheel. Here, the driving shaft is controlled according to data by contact with the person in the steering wheel who is supported to concentrate and to support unstable walking operation, and it examines it by the method without the operating switches in principle. The achievement of the speed control method with an excellent man-machine interface is examined for the force control used in many cases so far.
