In the combustors and the furnaces, the change of pressure, flow velocity, and flame often influence each other, and the oscillations of these parameters are sometimes excited. Considering on the simplified viewpoints, the Rijke's oscillation, and the singing flame are called to mind. In both cases the location of the heat sources in the gas column plays an important roll to bring about the natural modes of the gas column into oscillation. In this study the burner is set at the vicinity of tube inlet. The flame has a tendency to travel in the tube, and sometimes shows the flashback nearly periodically, generating sounds.
