This paper studies the analytical models for vibration of visco-elastic materials such as rubbers. For this purpose, the frequency characteristics of complex elastic modulus are obtained by using the spring-dashpot models and the fractional derivative models, and then the effect of parameters of the models are studied on the characteristics. Parameter identifications for the models are conducted by using experimental data referenced. Finally the applicability of the models is discussed by comparing the results from the identifications.
