The dynamic vibration absorber using the free-free beam where midpoint is attached to a panel structure, which is vibrated at constant amplitude and constant frequency, can reduce the sound radiation from the panel at the anti-resonance frequency. This study explains about the method to estimate the equivalent mass that is needed to estimate the noise-reduction level at the anti-resonance frequency. And this study proposes that the free-free beam where both ends are zigzag shapes has several anti-resonance modes of multi-degree-of-freedom system. By using the proposed method for the proposed absorber, the anti-resonance frequency and the equivalent mass can be designed size-by-size.
