Tokyo Metropolitan Institute of Technology, Department of Intelligent Systems Engineering, In recent years, there is a problem that the number of mail advertisement which a user receives increases quickly. It is take time very much and difficult for a user to look for mail including information needed from a lot of mail advertisements. In order to solve this problem, this research proposed the distinction method of a mail advertisement in consideration of the importance of words and signs. And built a system for searching for the distinction conditions of a mail advertisement. From the results of experiments, it turns out that the distinction method of the proposed mail advertisement is effective, and the distinction conditions of the high mail advertisement of distinction accuracy were found by the search system.
