抄録
To design artifacts that make people's life and society wealthy in regard to both material and mind, it is necessary to consider not only their functions and performances but also other various factors which conventional engineering design does not necessarily cover such as emotion, feelings and aesthetics. In this paper, the authors describe their basic concept and trials of research and education aiming design innovation by engineering approach.
