As global environmental issues have become aggravated, "Eco" become a competitive advantage in the business because of increasing consumer's environmental consciousness. However, it is difficult to lead eco-business to the success in both of environmental and economic aspects. For promoting Eco-business, it will be effective to support finding out eco-business ideas and evaluating feasibility of eco-business. The purpose of this study is to propose the methodology that supports the design of eco-business based on a set of general rules. For this purpose, this paper proposes the method of settling on business model based on idea and the business evaluation. Especially, this evaluation methodology pays attention to the merchantability of the business model. In addition, the methodology is verified by a case study.
