A new evaluation methodology of 3D-CAD practice was introduced on mechanical design education in a College of Technology. The main results obtained are as follows: (1) We could reduce the effort of marking of works to be submitted, without decrease of the evaluation quality: (2) If we supply the parts which cannot be edited, students who are behind the schedule can practice the assembly in 3D-CAD. (3) The evaluation method prevents a plagiarism of another person's data. Therefore we could propose a high efficient and high quality evaluation methodology by usage of 3D-CAD.
