We developed tactile display device for sole of foot. Usually, tactile presentation device is attached on the hand. But that structure and weight is take away the freedom of hand. In addition, the range of tactile representation is limited to the fingertip or the like. As a solution to this problem, we propose a tactile presentation to the different parts of the body. In this paper, we report the preliminary experiment of object position recognition by the device, which was fabricated. Experimental result, it was observed that the accuracy of position recognition is different depending on the area of foot sole.
