In this study, elastic-viscoplastic properties of plain-woven laminates with various combinations of fiber/matrix materials are analyzed using a triple-scale homogenization analysis method to investigate how the combinations affect the properties of laminates. For this, first, the analysis models in macro-, meso- and micro-scales are respectively defined. Then, a homogenization theory for nonlinear time-dependent composites is incorporated into the triple-scale homogenization method which can couple macro/meso homogenization with meso/micro homogenization. Using this method, elastic-viscoplastic properties of plain-woven laminates which consist of several combinations of fiber/matrix materials are analyzed. The analysis results show that the analysis method can analyze the effects of changing constituents on the elastic-viscoplastic properties of plain-woven laminates effectively and efficiently.
