Deployable truss antenna with hexagonal prism modules is one of the important types of deployable antenna. Based on the least square method and the homogeneous coordinate transformation method, a design method of truss structure with the same size module for deployable truss antenna is proposed. According to the type of antenna and modular structure, the truss structure is designed as a spherical surface. Mesh surface generatrix equation is determined on the basis of aperture, offset, f/D and other parameters. Then parabola is fitted by means of the least square method. Transformation matrixes from basic coordinate system of any modules to total coordinate system and coordinate formulas of any connections are derived with the homogeneous coordinate transformation method. So the spatial geometry model of truss structure is presented. The reason for the change of angle between the two adjacent basic frames is analyzed in detail, which is caused by connection deviation of modules. And the angle equation is derived. The design method can provide a reference for the design of deployable truss antenna with 7 modules.
