Abstract
Vibration transfer characteristics through a liquid meniscus bridge were investigated experimentally using the meniscus response apparatus. Effects of the excitation amplitude and the contact angle on the vibration transfer characteristics were clarified. The large contact angle was obtained by applying oil repellent to a glass plate. It was found that the excitation amplitude affected the vibration transfer characteristics and the contact angle amazingly affected them because the boundary condition at the meniscus periphery was changed.
