This study presented some examples of combustion analysis using general-purpose software FLUENT. Combustion analysis techniques are classified broadly into [1]laminar finite-rate, [2]turbulent combustion with simplified chemistry, and [3]combinations of a turbulence model and elementary reaction analysis. As a concrete example of the third category, the result of a numerical analysis of lifted flames in turbulent diffusion combustion was reported.
