The method of innovation diagram, in which "creation of knowledge" and "embodiment of knowledge" are depicted by orthogonal axes, is presented to understand the source of breakthrough innovations. Using this method, new concept of "paradigm disruptive innovation" is clarified as a type of breakthrough. Furthermore, two more different types of breakthroughs are presented. Through this innovation theory, the importance of "transillient thinking" is discussed which enables us to make quantum leaps to various dimensions of evaluation to foresee the future.
