An operations management system for energy supply networks is developed. The developed management consists of forecast scenario generation of input conditions, operation schedule planning using two-stage stochastic mixed-integer linear programming, and real-time control based on prespecified rule. The developed management is applied to a residential energy supply network, composed of photovoltaics, multiple sets of a heat pump water heating unit and hot water storage tank, and a battery unit to supply power and hot water to multiple dwellings. The annual operating simulation reveals the advantage of the developed management over the management based on the deterministic schedule planning.
