Plastic flow at the subsurface of two disks in rolling contact under the axia load is generated in experiment. But the cause of this deformation is not mechanically cleared. Here, simulation analysis using ABAQUS code is studied to clear mechanism of the plastic flow. The following results are obtained. When the contact point of two disks is on the center line of the y axis, the plastic flow is not generated. When the location of one of the disks deviates in the x direction from the y axis, the plastic flow at the subsurface can bc generated by the difference of the deviatoric stress.
