Two kinds of teaching tools by which energy conversion could be learnt in the study of "technology and making things" at Industrial Arts and Home-making course at the junior high school were developed. The first one by which the mechanism of solar electric power generation could be learnt is that the solar light energy is transformrd into electric energy by solar cell, and it is charged in a storage battery. And the charged electric energy is changed into power, light, and sound. The second one by which wind power generation could be learnt is that a power generation equipment is attached to an anemoscope and also a solar cell is attached in order to compensate the charging. Therefore it built up as a hybrid type. The voltmeter and the ammeter are attached to it in order to be able to performe various measurements. As a result of the lesson practice by using these two kinds of teaching tools, the students could be learnt about the energy conversion experientially and the fixity of learning increased.
