抄録
In this paper, a friction damper, which has resisting force characteristic of hardening type with backlash, is proposed. The trial damper was made, and its resisting force characteristic, and frequency and seismic responses of a single-degree-of-freedom system supported with the damper were discussed experimentally and numerically.
