Human reaction time depends on the type of stimulus. In this study, reaction times to visual, auditory and haptic stimuli are measured. Visual, auditory and haptic stimuli are presented to subjects by a liquid crystal display, a headphone, and a haptic device, respectively. The reaction times to several stimuli presented simultaneously are also measured and the influences of the addition of another stimulus on the reaction time are investigated. Furthermore, reaction times are measured when the subject's attention is attracted to another task. From the results of experiments, we discuss the presentation method of stimuli which has robustness against disturbances and another task.
