SEA is widely used for noise and vibration analysis in high frequency range, but the method is not accurate enough for low frequency analysis. On the other hand, EDA is feasible in all frequency band. Application results of Statistical energy analysis (SEA) and Energy density analysis (EDA) on complicated structure are demonstrated in this paper. Their application are feasibilities are shown through experiments in two points; comparing estimated and measured vibration energy, and comparing input powers estimated by two methods respectively. As a result, it is shown that EDA model is effective on estimating input power and vibration energy in all frequency range , while SEA model is effective only above 8kHz for the test complex structure.
