Electromagnetic brakes for small motors that use single flat springs are used in precision small equipment and use high precision operation. This structure shows a complicated response occurs due to the influence of the gyro moment and the nonlinear characteristics of the flat spring which is a component. Numerical analysis will be used to verify how these factors affect the vibration characteristics. Due to the influence of the gyro moment, the vibration shape at response become a complicated vibration with torsion and inclination. Due to the deformation of the flat spring, the system exhibits a complex response that simultaneously has tilting and touching vibration at response.
