Abstract
In our research project, the bionanofluid phenomena in confinement spaces or under the special boundary conditions, which are essential for realizing the valuable functions, are studied both theoretically and experimentally. One of our targets is to provide the practical design data for electrical DNA sequencers using the solid state nanopore. A long ssDNA should be flowed into the electrode-embedded nanopore for detecting the tunnel current. The dynamical behavior of a long DNA and the electrical current are modeled and analyzed systematically based on the molecular fluid dynamics. The present talk shows our recent results of advanced computer simulations and single-molecule fluorescence microscopy for investigating the complex macromolecules flow dynamics.
