An analytical method using CFD is used to be applied to the simulations in aeroelastic field. However, while it enables high accuracy simulations, it takes long time to acquire results. To overcome this drawback, the aerodynamic forces acquired with CFD caused by structure’s motions are translated to a model to be handled easier than the original CFD calculations. This kind of modeling is called as the Reduced Order Modeling (ROM). In this study, the aerodynamic forces acquired with the ROM method are compared with those acquired with CFD method.
