SiC/SiC composites are attractive for turbine rotor materials of aero engines owing to the high strength features at high temperature. In order to evaluate potential of a SiC/SiC blisk (bladed disk) of a 3D-cylindrical woven fabric composite for turbine materials, the strains at nine radial locations of the rotating blisk were measured using a slip ring at room temperature. The detailed strain distributions were obtained based on the measured strains. However, there are still more researches to be done.
