Recently, cell control in microchannel, e.g., by dielectrophoretic micro flow, has been attractive research due to cell cultivation, cell manipulation and its molecular biological analysis. In this study, the motility response of cells to pressurized micro flow was investigated to clarify its effect on cell control. The lamellipodia change and the moving direction of cornea epithelial cells were experimentally measured based on image processing. As a result, it was suggested that the micro flow could not control the magnitude of the lamellipodia change, but the direction of the cell motility. Therefore, the pressurized micro flow could become one element of the cell motility control.
