Abstract
The purification of the exhaust gas and the high performance has been required. In the previous report, NO_x is decreasing with decreasing the oxygen concentration of aspiration. So, when the diesel engine is operated by mixing the nitrogen and methane with aspiration air, the thermal efficiency and the fuel consumption rate are measured. The characteristics of combustion/exhaust gas and the performance of the engine are discussed as mixing nitrogen and methane in aspiration.
