Abstract
Homogeneous Charge Compression Ignition (HCCI) engines are possible to achieve high thermal efficiency and low emissions. To practical use, avoiding Knocking and keeping high combustion efficiency are necessary. And achieving this problem, it is essential to control combustion phasing. There are some HCCI combustion control systems have been suggested. In this study, propose and evaluate a simple HCCI combustion control system that uses ratio of three gases (Stoichiometric premixture, Hot EGR gas, and Cold EGR gas) and control method.
