Residual stress distribution of cold-bent austenitic stainless steel pipe was measure with neutron diffraction method. The configuration of the pipe was 2B in diameter and Sch160 in thickness, and it was bent 90degrees by bent radius ratio of r/D=3. The residual stress distribution on 45degree cross section is discussed in this study. Radial distribution of hoop stress on intrados was linear which was typical when bending load is applied. Radial distribution on extrados was inverse to the intrados which varied compressive to tensile state. The measured result was also compared with the result by strain-gauge method.
