Abstract
Laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS) has been applied for quantitative analysis of Al_2O_3,CaCO_3 and MgO suspended in water. The plasma emission intensities of Al, Ca and Mg were linearly increased with concentration of elements. It indicated that LIBS is a useful tool for quantitative analysis of particles in real environmental system.
