This study is aim to establish of the drilling method for achieve high quality, high efficiency and long life in order to drill the through-hole with diameter of 1 mm to the glass plate using an electroplated diamond tool. In previous studies, we succeeded the development of the tool which is satisfied with the hole quality and the drilling efficiency. This report investigated the cause of the drilling force increases with increasing of the drilling hole in order to extend the length of the devised tool life. The result is shown below. The cause of the increasing of the drilling force was abrasion of the abrasive grain. The grain abrasion was suppressed by the improvement of the drilling condition, and the tool life was long.
