The telescopic type is the most popular front suspension system of motorcycles on the market. However in telescopic type, steering stability is worsened by braking force. It is possible to improve the steering stability, if the center-hub steering system is applied. In this paper, property and mechanism of center-hub steering system is investigated by designing and manufacturing which use a commercial 50cc motorcycle. The main results are as follows: (1) Rigidity and steering stability of the center-hub steering system are influenced by the shape and the material of the center shaft. (2) It is possible to assemble an engine effectively as a part of the frame.
