抄録

Micromechanical analysis is performed to the chopped-strand fiber reinforced composite material containing many clusters constituted by misoriented fibers. Equivalent expression for the fiber in cluster is derived but it cannot be solved explicitly. Therefore approximations of flat-ellipsoidal cluster region and axi-symmetric distribution of fibers in the flat plane are introduced into the model. Then the model can be solved explicitly and strain and stress induced in the composite are also expressed explicitly.
