As for the manufacturing industry of future Japan, a customer's needs for a customization and for a delivery shortening demand are required increasingly. That is, "zero" product and middle product inventories and the change to the demand synchronization production which enables production by the shortest lead-time are required. For this reason, defining a group of products, and establishing a process design platform and a production platform is an important subject from a mid- and long-term viewpoint.
