The thermoacoustic engine is an external combustion engine triggered by Sterling cycle, it has the potential to use waste heat sources such as industrial exhaust heat, automobile exhaust heat and so on. The linear generators are the systems primarily used to convert the acoustic power output of a thermoacoustic engine into electrical power. Objective of this study is to perform impedance matching of linear generator in a looped type thermoacoustic engine by changing the cross sectional area of the upstream tube.
