In this study, heat transport characteristics of top-heat type BACH, Bubble-Actuated Circulating Heat pipe, were measured experimentally for utilizing BACH to control and decrease temperature difference between cold and hot concrete, aiming at prevention of thermal crack. Obtained results can be summarized as follows. Bubble generated when the temperature difference between bubble generation part and intermediate cooled section are about 17 degrees and effective thermal conductivity of BACH increased largely. Moreover by numerical simulation on thermal crack of concrete, it was found that when we use the effective thermal conductivity of BACH obtained by the experiments, the probability of crack occurrence was 47.4 % that is 42.3 % lower than that in the case of new concrete without BACH.
