The present paper describes the nonlinear behaviors of bubble formation from a single submerged orifice and the micro-convection surrounding the bubble. The experiment data reveal that departing periods of successive bubbles evolve multiple periodicity regularly from single period to triple periods and that the micro-convection evolves bifurcation phenomena similar to the so-called "period doubling" in chaos dynamics when the gas flow rate is increased. The photographic observation using high-speed video and the analysis of data indicate that these nonlinear features come from the deformation of the bubble together with the interactions between the consecutive bubbles
