Abstract
Focusing on daily life of elder people or handicapped people, we propose a life support system considering the intuitive control of users. Due to the decline of strength, they suffer from slight daily tasks. To support such daily tasks, robotic support systems is valid. However, a system for normal people seems not to be suitable for elder people or handicaple people. Thus, we propose a life support system which is easy to control by elder people and handicapped people. To control this system, users just use an interface of the system intuitively. Intuitive motions inputted by users is converted to a set of commands which the system is able to execute. Using physical agents consisted of a mobile robot are realize the set of commands. In this paper, we introduce an interface of the system using a handheld terminal, namely a smartphone installed Android OS. In addtion to this, an architecutre and a basic software of the interface is proposed.
