Abstract
We developed compact, low-cost PLEMO-P4 as a practical use machine of PLEMO-P-series. PLEMO-P4 was able to make compact and be low-cost by introducing Cylinder-shaped-type ER brake (Double-shaft-type), the high-pressure power supply amplifier and the regulating system newly developed. As the result of uses by the day care institution, it was show that the patients were able to execute the upper limb rehabilitation without spending time in the therapist with a keyboard to operate PLEMO-P4 voluntarily.
