Currently, there is a need for highly secure life support robots. We developed the prototype hardware of the dependable robotic cart. It is a vehicle similar to an electric wheelchair. The control system of the cart has been duplicated, it is possible to detect a single fault by monitoring each other. The cart can be stop to ensure safety, if it detects any errors or unsafe situations.
