In Japan, radio calisthenics is popular for a long time since we can do it anywhere. However, the effect of it depends on how seriously he or she plays it. Thus we have been developing an automatized evaluation system of a play by using Kinect. Our system utilizes the depth data acquired from it without using RGB data in order to avoid the effects of the environment and the clothes. We mainly use the joint detecting function of Kinect for Windows SDK, but it yields false detection signals in some special poses of the calisthenics. In this paper, we develop joint detection function algorithms of two chapters of the calisthenics by using the raw depth data.
